The Reacher Creatures Screen Savers are free to download and free to use. The Screen Savers were originally designed and built in 2002 and were available on previous versions of www.reachercreatures.com However I lost the hosting service which I used to use to store the files. Now, however, sitting in their brand new home, they are once again available to download and install on your PC. Look out for new screen savers coming soon, featuring new cover art. Each Screen Saver features cover art from the Jack Reacher books. They work exactly the same as any other screen saver and can be easily switched off if no longer required. And they can be removed from your system if you wish by using the "add/remove programs" button on the control panel. Download/Install instructions: 1. Just click the link which refers to the Screen Saver you wish to download. 2. A window will open asking you to choose whether to "Run from current location" or "save to disk". Either one is ok, but if you "save to disk" you will need to remember where you saved it in order to start the installation of the Screen Saver. 3. If you choose to "run from this location" the Screen Saver will start to install as soon as it has downloaded. 4. Don't worry about the "Publisher can not be verified" message, just click "RUN". 5. If you chose to "save to disk", after the file has downloaded, locate it on your hard drive, double click the Install icon and follow the on screen instructions. If you no longer wish to use the screensaver, it can be disabled by right clicking on the desktop, clicking the "Properties" option then the "Scren Saver" tab at the top. Then change the Screen Saver to "none" If you wish to remove it from your hard drive completely, it can be removed by using the Control Panels' "Add/Remove Programs" option. Hmmmm... I don't know why, but these older Screensavers are not installing any more. So I've had to take them off for now. I am working on some new ones and they will be up soon. Sorry folks. |
